I'm getting a "Payment failed" error when using Afterpay

If you are receiving the error message "Payment failed: Afterpay is not able to process this order. Please contact the retailer for more information." it is likely because you are using your phone number when checking out.
 
To resolve this issue, simply enter your email in the "Email or Mobile Phone Number" form field located on the Contact Information section of the checkout process.
